Piedmont entered their tilt with Claremore on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Zebras. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Piedmont's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Claremore, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-7.

Piedmont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-4 defeat against Edmond Santa Fe on the 20th. As for Claremore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Tuttle on the 19th.
