Kent Island lost to Wicomico back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Buccaneers won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Indians 24-23. The win was nothing new for the Buccaneers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Jaxson Hess had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 166 yards and one touchdown, while also picking up 68 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024.

Kent Island's record now sits at 5-2. As for Wicomico, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-1.

Coming up, Kent Island will head out on the road to face off against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Wicomico, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Easton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
