Western Harnett came out on top against Cedar Ridge on Friday thanks in part to Jaylen Pettiford's efforts. Pettiford rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown, which was good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards.

Pettiford and Western Harnett will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southern Lee at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
