Softball Recap: Oconee County Plays to a Tie

Oconee County saw some tournament action on Saturday. Neither they nor the Fayette County Tigers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Oconee County's record moves to 0-4-1. As for Fayette County, they moved theirs to 1-6-1.

Looking ahead, Oconee County will square off against Monroe Area at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Purple Hurricanes will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fayette County, they will take on East Laurens at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
