Baseball Game Preview: Boylan Catholic Titans vs. Prairie Ridge Wolves

The Boylan Catholic Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Prairie Ridge Wolves at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Prairie Ridge will be up against a hot Boylan Catholic squad: the team just extended their winning streak to seven. The Titans blew past Rockford Auburn 14-4 on Wednesday.

Barrington typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Prairie Ridge proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Broncos/Fillies with a sharp 11-1 victory. 11 seems to be a good number for the Wolves as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Prairie Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Boylan Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 21-13.

Boylan Catholic came out on top in a nail-biter against Prairie Ridge in their previous meeting back in April of 2017, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
