Baseball Recap: Wheaton North Comes Up Short

Wheaton North dropped down to 14-17 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 13-4 to the Geneva Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Falcons have suffered since April 22nd.

As for Geneva, their victory bumped their record up to 25-5. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

For Geneva's part, they got a great performance from AJ Minderman as he pitched six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan Kastor, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Hall, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
