Volleyball Game Preview: Highland Trojans vs. Merrillville Pirates

The Highland Trojans will face off against the Merrillville Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.

On Tuesday, Highland didn't have quite enough to beat Lowell and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Highland sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-17, 17-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Merrillville came up short against Crown Point on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-10, 25-15.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Merrillville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
