It was a good run, but Jackson unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Westlake Lions, falling 15-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Jaguars, who until this contest were averaging 3.34 runs allowed.

Jackson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Dunn, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Westlake, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson will square off against Walker at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Westlake, they are taking a road trip to challenge Paideia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
