Softball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Lagrange

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Starr's Mill, LaGrange was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Fayette County Tigers 11-9. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Grangers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

LaGrange's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Fayette County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
