While Brighton's win against Prairie View wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Thunderhawks 7-5. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won four matches in a row.

Brighton's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Prairie View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Brighton will challenge rival Riverdale Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Prairie View is set to take on their familiar foe Mountain Range at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
