Baseball Game Recap: St. Patrick Shamrocks vs. Providence Catholic Celtics

St. Patrick lost to Providence Catholic back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Shamrocks wound up with the same score they had in their last game (10-6), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

St. Patrick has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season. As for Providence Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-14.

Coming up, St. Patrick will head out on the road to take on Nazareth Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Roadrunners' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Shamrocks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Providence Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridgewood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
