Softball Recap: Canute Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Canute put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hydro-Eakly Bobcats a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Canute pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Hydro-Eakly, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.

Canute has already played their next contest, a 7-5 defeat against Elgin on the 6th. As for Hydro-Eakly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-4 victory against Kiefer on the 6th.
