Softball Recap: Hydro-Eakly's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Hydro-Eakly extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 11-1. They came out on top against the Cheyenne/Reydon Bears by a score of 5-1. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

As for Cheyenne/Reydon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games.

For Cheyenne/Reydon's part, Kimbo Denney made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was Denney's first of the season.
