Soccer Game Preview: Lakeview Academy vs. Tallulah Falls

The Lakeview Academy Lions will venture away from home to take on the Tallulah Falls Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lakeview Academy lost 5-1 to Bethlehem Christian Academy on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Lions were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, Tallulah Falls waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Lumpkin County. Given Tallulah Falls' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Lumpkin County is ranked 293rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tallulah Falls pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three games. As for Lakeview Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Lakeview Academy suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Tallulah Falls when the teams last played back in February of 2022. Can Lakeview Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
