Volleyball Recap: Spring Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Spring Creek Spartans didn't have quite enough to beat the White Pine Bobcats on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Spring Creek sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-5.

Presley Skadburg was nothing short of spectacular for White Pine: she had 19 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Skadburg a new career-high in assists (two). Ava Ahlvers also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Spring Creek dropped their record down to 11-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for White Pine, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Creek will welcome Dayton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White Pine, they will host Needles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
