Football Game Preview: Morrow Mustangs vs. Lovejoy Wildcats

Morrow hasn't had much luck against Lovejoy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Morrow has given up an average of 30.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Friday, Morrow had to suffer through a 34-6 loss at the hands of Newnan. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Cougars are ranked 82nd).

Meanwhile, Lovejoy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand McIntosh a 21-0 shutout. The 21-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Morrow's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lovejoy, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
