Soccer Recap: Mclane Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clovis, McLane was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Orosi Cardinals. That's more bragging rights for McLane, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

They hit Orosi with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jasleen Iturbide, Naima Marquez, and Ashlee Salinas.

McLane moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak. As for Orosi, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McLane will take on San Joaquin Memorial in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Orosi and Riverdale will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
