White Pine came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Needles Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

White Pine was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-9, 15-3.

Amaia Shedd paced White Pine's offense, picking up seven kills. Shedd got some help from Kasadie Britton and her ten assists. Britton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Ahlvers, each putting up three.

White Pine's victory bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Needles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
