Volleyball Game Preview: Bullard Panthers vs. Rusk Eagles + How To Watch

Bullard has gone 9-1 against Rusk recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Bullard will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Bullard made easy work of Hudson and carried off a 3-0 win.

Bullard got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-10, 31-29.

Bullard relied on the efforts of Julia Garrick, who had 18 assists and six digs, and Hudsen Walker, who had ten digs and two aces. Garrick has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last seven times she's played.

Meanwhile, Rusk lost 3-0 to Madisonville on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-12.

Bullard's victory bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Rusk, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.

Bullard couldn't quite get it done against Rusk in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
