Softball Recap: Sterling Tigers vs. Scottsbluff Bearcats

Sterling extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Scottsbluff Bearcats. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by just one run.

Coming up, Sterling will head out on the road to challenge Holyoke at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.25 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Scottsbluff, they will take on Gering on Thursday.
