St. Andrew typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Valwood proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions, sneaking past 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Valiants in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Valwood got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-27, 15-8.
