Sheridan wins going away against Delphi Community

The Sheridan Blackhawks stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 58-33 margin over Delphi Community. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Sheridan has posted since December 15, 2023.

Kenzie Garner was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last five games she's played. Nova Cross was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.

Delphi Community lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jenna Roth, who scored ten points along with five steals. Roth has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lacey Pickering, who scored seven points.

Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Delphi Community, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan will take on Clinton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton Central will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak. As for Delphi Community, they will head out on the road to take on Tri-County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-County will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
