Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Ava Matheny stepped things up a notch to give Smoky Hill the 'W'. Matheny went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long.

Matheny had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in September of 2024 13-0.
