Football Recap: Laurel Highlands Comes Up Short

Laurel Highlands lost against Chartiers Valley back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs had to suffer through a 55-7 loss at the hands of the Colts. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Colts are ranked 119th).

Laurel Highlands is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Chartiers Valley, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Laurel Highlands is set to square off against their familiar foe Ringgold at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chartiers Valley will take on rival Belle Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
