Softball Game Preview: Warrensburg Tigers vs. Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks

The Warrensburg Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Warrensburg duked it out with Oak Grove on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 9-1.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Hill made easy work of Odessa on Thursday and carried off an 8-1 victory. Considering the Roosters/Chicks have won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Pleasant Hill is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Warrensburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Warrensburg suffered a grim 15-3 defeat to Pleasant Hill when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
