Pierce County barely beat Brunswick the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears blew past the Pirates 9-1 on Tuesday. Considering the Bears have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pierce County pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Brunswick, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Looking ahead, Pierce County will be playing in front of their home fans against Crisp County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.13 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Brunswick, they will face off against Toombs County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
