Football Recap: Huge Rushing Attack Leads Jal over Tularosa + How To Watch

Jal's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 13-6 win over the Tularosa Wildcats. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 35-20 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Zadyn Lujan was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 150 yards. Daniel Ornelas was in the mix too, providing Jal with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jal was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 268 rushing yards. They are 3-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Jal's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Tularosa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Jal will face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tularosa, they will square off against Loving at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
