Softball Recap: Fort Osage Comes Up Short on the Road Against Pleasant Hill

Fort Osage had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks by a score of 8-7 on Saturday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Roosters/Chicks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.

Pleasant Hill's win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Fort Osage has already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Blue Springs on the 2nd. As for Pleasant Hill, they will challenge Holden at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
