Softball Recap: Park Hill Takes a Loss

Park Hill kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Beatrice Orangemen by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Trojans have suffered since August 31, 2024.

The win (which was Beatrice's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Park Hill will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Staley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Beatrice, they will be taking part in a tournament against Rock Bridge at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
