Baseball Recap: Loganville Christian Academy Lions vs. George Walton Academy Bulldogs
Loganville Christian Academy extended their losing streak to 11 on Friday, dropping their season record down to 5-20 in the process. They fell 9-6 to the George Walton Academy Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-0 loss on Thursday.
Hudson Grayson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs.
As for George Walton Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-18 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games.
On George Walton Academy's side, Beckett Lacour was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Lacour has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Grant Spires, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one double.
