June 17, 2019:  As Male (Louisville, Ky.), Williamsville East (East Amherst, N.Y.) and Pine Grove (Pa.) were busy running the table on the 2019 season, Norco (Calif.) staked its claim to the 2019 MaxPreps National Championship.

June 4, 2019:  An unprecedented nine teams fell from the MaxPreps Top 25 national high school softball rankings last week, including three Top 10 and three previously unbeaten.

May 28, 2019: They're back. The Norco (Calif.) softball team returned to the top of the MaxPreps Top 25 national softball rankings after former No. 1, Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, Fla.), lost on its final day of the 2019 season.
