Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Frazee Hornets (Frazee, MN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 18-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17. Park Rapids will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Perham (Perham, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Frazee falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lake Park-Audubon (Lake Park, MN) to battle the Raiders in a Freelance challenge on Monday, May 16. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 2-11. Lake Park-Audubon lost 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (Twin Valley, MN)
