Gideon Bulldogs (Gideon, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Campbell Camels (Campbell, MO), 71-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Gideon upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Portageville (Portageville, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Portageville won 69-48 in their recent non-league bout against East Prairie (East Prairie, MO)

Next up, the Camels play the Senath-Hornersville Lions (Senath, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Campbell will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 67-31 non-league loss to Risco (Risco, MO).
