Dixon Bulldogs (Dixon, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Eldon Mustangs (Eldon, MO), 66-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dixon upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Boonville (Boonville, MO) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 11. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Boonville won 62-51 in their recent non-league bout against North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Fulton Hornets (Fulton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 11. Eldon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 51-48 league win over Marshall (Marshall, MO).
