Miller Cardinals (Miller, MO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Eldon Mustangs (Eldon, MO), 59-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Miller upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Lockwood (Lockwood, MO) to play the Tigers in a Spring River Valley bout on Tuesday, February 9. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 9-10. Lockwood won 48-42 in their recent league bout against Greenfield (Greenfield, MO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Blair Oaks Falcons (Jefferson City, MO) in a Tri-County bout, on Tuesday, February 9. Eldon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 60-53 non-league win over Southern Boone (Ashland, MO).
