Holden Eagles (Holden, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Knob Noster Panthers (Knob Noster, MO), 70-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Holden upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Eagles host Oak Grove (Oak Grove, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Oak Grove won 44-36 in their recent league bout against Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO)

Next up, the Panthers play the St. Paul Lutheran Saints (Concordia, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Knob Noster will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
