Jake Carpenter has been named player of the year. "Jake Carpenter is the 2022 season MVP. He was one of the teams strongest players on both offense and defense throughout the season, and led almost every stat category except faceoffs. He was a captain and provided strong leadership, recruiting most of the team and the new head coach in order to reboot the WHS lacrosse program post COVID. It is entirely possible that WHS lacrosse would not have had a 2022 season at all without his efforts."
