Inglemoor had won four straight games and Peyton Mrsny did his part to make it five on Friday. The Vikings enjoyed a cozy 50-31 win over the Mercer Island Islanders for which the team can thank Mrsny, who rushed for 198 yards and four TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards.

Inglemoor didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Zachary Eubanks. Sam Dale was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Despite the loss, Mercer Island still got an impressive performance from Kainoa Brown, who rushed for 23 yards and three scores, and also picked up 149 receiving yards.

Inglemoor's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Mercer Island, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Inglemoor is set to take on their familiar foe Renton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Mrsny and Patrick Turner. Meanwhile, Mercer Island will face off against rival Redmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
