Steven Heise's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Starting off the list is Oil City's Steven Heise, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Heise rushed for 188 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Heise has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 53.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 1.11 rushing yards per game.

Jordan Lawrence's Big Game Leads Meadville over Warren
Jordan Lawrence put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Meadville is 4-1 when Lawrence posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Warren's probably not too fond of Lawrence given he always seems to get the better of them. When Lawrence last faced the Dragons back in October of 2023, he rushed for 223 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.

DaZarie Carson put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
Cathedral Prep moved to 6-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Carson and Cathedral Prep have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Farrell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Zietz Made His Presence Known in General Mclane's 39-32 Loss
General McLane was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Isaac Zietz did his best to prevent it. Zietz was unstoppable, throwing for 256 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 35 yards and two touchdowns.
Zietz might have his next game, a home matchup with Meadville, circled on his calendar. When Zietz last faced the Bulldogs last Thursday, he threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown.

Teige Berger Makes It Two for General Mclane
Another General McLane player making an appearance on this list is Teige Berger. He rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.
