Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, Pa.) won its first Powerade Tournament championship with 194.5 points. The Big Macs had three individual champions in the 44th annual meet: Colton Shorts (103), Connor Schram (112) and Cody Klempay (junior heavyweight).
Pete Baldwin of
Osceola (Kissimmee, Fla.) won all five of his Powerade matches at 145 pounds to become the first Florida wrestler ever to notch 300 career victories. He is 31-0 this year with 24 pins and has a career record of 301-20 with 221 pins.
