White Pine proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Spring Creek Spartans 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on five straight.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was White Pine who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-5.
Presley Skadburg was nothing short of spectacular: she had 19 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August of 2024. Ava Ahlvers also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.
White Pine's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Spring Creek, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-13.
