Union Area put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Freedom Area Bulldogs 52-36.

Union Area's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Freedom Area, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Area will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Aquinas Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 16, 2025. As for Freedom Area, they will venture away from home to challenge Rochester at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rochester knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Freedom Area likes a good challenge.
