3. Gregory Deichmann, Brother Martin (New Orleans), 3BDeichmann
was one of the top power hitters in Louisiana this year as he belted 11
home runs, nine doubles and three triples. He finished the season
batting .385 (37 for 96) with 35 runs and 31 RBIs for a team that went
31-6.
What the scouts like: Deichmann showed excellent power
this year with 11 home runs. He also has the ability to play anywhere in
the infield, but he will likely end up at third base.
Where he will go: Second to third round.
