Hueneme got themselves on the board against Thacher on Saturday, but Thacher never followed suit. They didn't even let the Toads on the board, marking their second-straight  8-0 shutout. Hueneme is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Thacher, they now  have a losing record of 3-4.
 Coming up, Hueneme will take on Channel Islands at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Thacher, they will challenge Foothill Tech at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
