Gaithersburg extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 2-5. They were dealt  a  52-14 loss at the hands of the Richard Montgomery Rockets. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in November of 2024.
As for Richard Montgomery, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Considering they have won three contests by more than 24  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Richard Montgomery to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Tristan Trebules, who rushed for 146 yards while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also caught two  touchdowns.  Dylan Webster was another key signal caller, throwing for 263 yards and four  TDs while picking up 10.5 yards per attempt.
 Coming up, Gaithersburg will take on Magruder at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Richard Montgomery, they will head out to  face off against Rockville  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
