Kyree Walker delivered a surprise pledge to Arizona State.

A 6-foot-6 wing, Walker averaged 21.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game last winter for Moreau Catholic (Hayward, Calif.). The Mariners went 25-10 and reached the Division II state title game, where he put up 28 points and 10 rebounds in a loss.
In late May, Walker announced he would be leaving Moreau Catholic to continue his career at
Hillcrest Prep (Phoenix, Ariz.).

Walker is believed to be the first verbal commitment in high school basketball's Class of 2020.

After putting up over 20 points per game as a freshman at Moreau Catholic, Kyree Walker will continue his career at a prep school in Arizona.
