Biggs and Hamilton are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2022, but likely not for long. The Wolverines will challenge the Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Biggs will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Biggs is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Modoc with a sharp 8-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Dennis Dewhurst spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jaiden Bandy was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Owen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Biggs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .458 or higher in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hamilton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against Quincy by a score of 11-7 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won five in a row.
Hamilton let Austin 'Stewy' Studybaker and Hayden 'Chicken Joe' Boles run wild. Studybaker went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while 'Chicken Joe' Boles went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Mark Steele was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs.
Biggs' win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Hamilton, their victory bumped their record up to 16-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Biggs has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hamilton struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
