Defensive tackle
Derrick Nnadi played a big role in the team's success.
Nnadi was an
All-Tidewater pick by the Virginian-Pilot after registering 71 tackles and 20 sacks.
He was also the Beach District Co-Defensive Player of the Year, an honor he shared with Oscar Smith standout Andrew Brown.
With his senior season behind him, Nnadi still has some unfinished business to take care of: his college decision.
247Sports, which ranks Nnadi as
the nation's No. 7 defensive tackle, lists Virginia Tech, Virginia and Penn State as Nnadi's three most probable landing spots. According to his Crystal Ball, Virginia Tech is a 79% favorite.
The one wild card in Nnadis' recruitment? Ohio State.
Nnadi has a visit planned to Columbus in January. Given Urban Meyer's ability to close on recruits, don't be shocked if Nnadi is a Buckeye next fall.
