While Payton College Prep's win against Maine East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Blue Demons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Kobe Ferguson, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 13 games.

Payton College Prep's win bumped their record up to 19-12-1. As for Maine East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-18.
