If Sumner Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Highland Park, they should've done a better job of containing Dontrail Fox. The Scots blew past the Sabres 44-16 on Friday for which the team can thank Fox, who rushed for 73 yards and one TD, and also threw for 97 yards and one touchdown on only five passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Highland Park didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Rayshon Pollard. Tremaine Savage was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble, making ten total tackles, and defending four passes.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Highland Park, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Ghoni Montgomery, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Highland Park has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 38.0 points this season. As for Sumner Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
